Full Colour Printing

Centrereed's Colour Printing division offers the widest range of full colour printing available on the market today.

In our Rotherham plant we have three narrow colour web presses:

1) HARRIS 920 six unit press, 520mm web width featuring heavy duty full inter-deck UV and computerised registration including re-run, producing to reel, sheet or fan-fold. This directly feeds into a high quality film wrapping line.

2) S&T Sprint 1600 five unit press featuring UV drying and ultra fast computerised registration, working to sheet or fan-fold at up to 420mm web width.

3) DRENT Gazelle 6T - five unit press, web width 485mm, dedicated reel to sheet without sheeting to deliver A4 sheets. This press offers high speed, significantly higher ink coverage and high printing quality, with three UV sections for maximum flexibility of configuration and ink coverage.

The S&T Sprint offers excellent inking and registration quality for short to medium runs up to 250,000 with reel to pack or reel to sheet delivery. The larger HARRIS 8 page web offers commercial quality 6-colour printing plus re-run facility at higher speed for longer runs into millions of forms. The DRENT is an efficient five unit press with shorter make ready costs and high output capability ranging from medium runs of 50,000 pages to long runs of greater than a million pages.

Complimenting the S&T, HARRIS and DRENT colour web presses is shorter run capacity on our Ryobi and Heidelberg SRA3 sheetfed presses.
